Hello everyone, here’s a quick reminder that this Sunday (31/8) we are invited to celebrate Holy Communion with our ministry partners ten minutes away down SH1 at St Barnabas, Woodend. Just a short hop down the main road for some of us; others might appreciate a ride and it is better for the environment if we car pool, so please offer a ride to someone.
As usual, the people of St Barnabas will provide morning tea after the service. Feel free to bring a plate of food but there is no need to do so as there is usually more than enough. See you there!
I have just been and bought two tickets to the ‘Spice up your Winter Lunch’. Have you got yours yet? A mid-winter social event after church this Sunday will be just the thing to cheer us up when the weather is conspiring against us. I look forward to meeting up not only with my fellow parishioners from Amberley and Leithfield, but also our friends from St Barnabas Anglican Church in Woodend. See you there.

The parish quarterly newsletter for Winter 2014 is out now. Those who usually find this in their letterboxes should get theirs during the week (once it stops pouring with rain and we can get out to deliver them!). Let our parish administrator, Patricia Gardner, know if you are not on the mailing list and would like to be, or if you would like to receive an email copy in future. Her email address is email@example.com

Our March 2014 parish newsletter is a mixture of articles, reports, notices, and a concise schedule of services for the next three months.* If you don’t receive this by post or email – or you’ve lost/deleted yours – read on! Take a look at the main menu at the top of the page and you will see we have added a new page: ‘Newsletter’. Here you can view the latest newsletter as a pdf or print it if you prefer.
*Occasionally the service schedule is changed, so it will pay to check the ‘Church Services’ page on this site or the Link sheet handed out each Sunday in church.
