This post is in support of a man-friendly community event coming soon to North Canterbury (Sunday 25 May—’The Big Questions’, Waikari Hall, 11.30am–2.00pm).
It’s about raising awareness of health and wellbeing issues affecting NZ men, particularly in our rural and semi-rural communities. Ex-All Black Buck Shelford is among the guest speakers, and there’s an option to travel to the venue by steam train (great idea!) or for the more energetic to join in the Weka Pass Run. Both men and women are welcome.

This promises to be an upbeat affair with plenty of good, practical information on ‘Making the most ot it’ – ‘it’ being life.
