Meet Reverend Meg Harvey, who has been the Vicar of Amberley Parish since August 2022. As a parish we want to warmly welcome anyone who hasn’t been to church for a while and is thinking of trying church again, anyone who has never been a “churchgoer”, all new Christians and those wanting to explore the faith, and all visitors, newcomers, holiday-makers, and passers-by.
Whoever you are, you are most welcome.

It was encouraging to be part of Messy Church at the Amberley Anglican parish in July, when children and adults gathered to celebrate the Bible story of Zacchaeus—through stories, multimedia, songs, prayers, art, and improvised drama. Can you spare an hour of your time to support Anglican Advocacy and the Living Wage movement as they try to make a difference to people in our very own Hurunui district?
Living Wage Canterbury is taking deputation to the Hurunui District Council at 1pm on the 27th August, 66 Carters Road, Amberley. As ratepayers of the district, we are able to attend this meeting and it would be wonderful to see the chambers packed for a change.
