You bring your takeaways and we’ll provide the movie snacks – chips and popcorn. We are watching “Up” – a fun animated tale suitable for school-aged children. It would be awesome for you to join us.
On Tuesday nights at the moment we are running a course that explores the Christian faith. It is called Alpha. We start at 7:30pm with dessert and then watch a talk and have a discussion with a cup of tea. All finished by 9:15pm. You are very welcome to join us in the Church Hall on Church Street.

Sunday 14 May 2023, we gave thanks for mothers and celebrated their contribution to our lives and to the world. We gave thanks also for women who are not mothers but who have “mothered” in so many ways.

Meet Reverend Meg Harvey, who has been the Vicar of Amberley Parish since August 2022. As a parish we want to warmly welcome anyone who hasn’t been to church for a while and is thinking of trying church again, anyone who has never been a “churchgoer”, all new Christians and those wanting to explore the faith, and all visitors, newcomers, holiday-makers, and passers-by.
Whoever you are, you are most welcome.

Living Wage Canterbury is taking deputation to the Hurunui District Council at 1pm on the 27th August, 66 Carters Road, Amberley. As ratepayers of the district, we are able to attend this meeting and it would be wonderful to see the chambers packed for a change.
