Pastoral Care Network:
meets regularly to pray and plan visiting and practical help for those who need it. Co-ordinated by Rev’d Jane Davison and Sally McKenzie.
Messy Church Team:
plans and runs the 4.30pm Messy Church for children and families about every second month. For more information about Messy Church, click here.
Vestry:
is a committee made up of Clergy, Wardens, elected members, and ex-officio members such as Parish Administrator, Treasurer and Lay Synod Representative. It meets every month except December. Main tasks are governance of the parish and stewardship of parish assets.
Combined Churches Committee:
promotes inter-church relationships in the district. With representatives from local Anglican, Catholic, Presbyterian, New Life and Inspire churches, the Committee organises events throughout the year, including the community Anzac Day commemorations, and the popular Carols in the Park.
Solos’ Group:
meets twice a month in the winter months, on Wednesday afternoons. Anyone who would like some company is welcome to join Solos for boardgames, cards, conversation and afternoon tea in our well-heated parish hall on Church Street, Amberley.
Rest Home Services:
are led each month in Amberley Rest Home and Adriel Rest Home by volunteers from this and other local churches. Anyone is welcome to attend.
Ladies’ Guilds:
of both the parish churches take care of many practical matters such as flowers and the church cleaning, as well as organising regular social events and fundraising activities such as the ‘From the Church Gate’ Christmas Cake and Preserves stall at the Amberley A & P Show in Spring.
